Government Support
There is Government Money Available to You
Companies who wish to install energy reducing capital equipment are eligible for a Carbon Trust loan from £3,000 to £500,000 at 0% interest. The loan is un-secured, and there is no set up fee. Aldrock Surveyors can help you through the process, so that your application satisfies the Carbon Trust that the investment will cut CO2 emissions sufficiently to qualify. Your cash flow is protected at all times and monthly loan repayments (by direct debit) are always less than the energy savings.

Aldrock Surveyors Limited is experienced in the bureaucratic procedures for successful funding applications, and can liaise with the Carbon Trust on your behalf.
The size of the loan offered and its repayment period will be based on the projected CO2 savings, assessed by the Carbon Trust.
Repayments for Energy-Efficiency Loans are interest free and the term of the loan is determined by the energy payback of the project.
For example, if you are offered a loan of £30,000 and you expect to make energy cost savings of £10,000 per year, your energy payback ratio will be (£30,000 ÷ £10,000 p.a. =) 3 years. Therefore your repayments will be calculated to repay £30,000 over 3 years.
